Pam Cox, Marshall Gerstein Chair of IP Transactions, is leading a session during the Licensing Executives Society International’s (LESI) International Management & Delegates Meeting (IMDM) in Dublin. Pam will also be a panelist speaking (see below) at LESI’s 2026 Annual Conference, which brings together hundreds of licensing and intellectual property professionals from around the world to discuss developments in technology commercialization, IP strategy, and global licensing.

The session will provide an overview of a WIPO mediation. In addition to the how to, the session will describe other circumstances where mediation might be effective and best practices for successful mediations. Q&A will be available after the session concludes.
Pam Cox’s practice focuses on unraveling complex deal structures and devising creative agreement solutions as well as IP protection strategies and alternative dispute resolution for clients ranging from multinational corporations to non-profit institutions. As a patent attorney who started in-house doing technology transfer more than 30 years ago, Pam is an active supporter of advancing the licensing profession and governance, Pam is co-founder and chair of Women in Licensing Alliance (WILA) will be President Elect of LESI, is the former President of the Certified Licensing Professionals, Inc., multi-term former Member of the Boards of each organization, frequent invited international presenter and instructor, including for AUTM, and an adjunct professor at Northwestern School of Law.
