Partner Pamela L. Cox, chair of Marshall Gerstein's IP Transactions practice, spoke as a returning guest lecturer at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business on Jan. 26, 2022. Pam focused on preparing potential licensees to outlicense innovation from universities, research institutes and hospitals. During Pam’s session on "Entrepreneurship through Intellectual Property" she covered a range of intellectual property and license agreements issues, common non-financial complications in reaching license agreements between research institutions and their licensees, as well as considerations for advancing the commercialization of a university technology through licensing agreements.
