Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP attorney Randall G. Rueth, partner and chair, Electrical & Software Engineering will give a presentation entitled “What Entrepreneurs Must know About Intellectual Property: Protecting Your Competitive Advantage” on July 23, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at 1871, Chicago’s home to early stage digital start-ups in the Merchandise Mart.

The presentation will address the complex legal issues in patents, trade secrets, branding, and trademarks and copyright clearances, among others, that are critical to protecting businesses’ intellectual capital and sustainable competitive advantage in today’s technology-driven marketplace.
