Julianne Hartzell Joins Lawyers for the Creative Arts as Co-Panelist for Webinar on Copyright Litigation

Partner and Chair of Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP’s Medical Devices Practice, Julianne Hartzell will serve as a co-panelist for Lawyers for the Creative Arts (LCA) webinar “From Student to Master: What You Need to Know about Copyright Litigation” on Friday, June 26, 2020.

Julianne will be joined by Jeffrey Becker, Swanson, Martin & Bell LLP and Gwen Hochman Stewart, Sidley Austin LLP. The co-panelists will discuss:

  • Opportunities to serve on copyright dispute cases through LCA
  • Methods to handle the tricky nuances unique to copyright law

Marshall Gerstein is proud to counsel artists and arts organizations through LCA.

Julianne Hartzell has significant experience working with inventors and corporations in the fields of consumer products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and internet technology. Julianne handles all forms of intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation. She also has experience enforcing covenants not-to-compete and confidentiality agreements. Julianne is an active pro bono advocate, volunteering with Lawyers for the Creative Arts and additional legal service non-profit organizations. Julianne is a member of LCA’s Board of Directors. She has handled a wide range of pro bono cases referred by LCA, including copyright cases on behalf of photographers, authors, musicians, and other artists.
