Biography

Kelly M. Kleinwachter specializes in the U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution process, working directly with clients on foreign trademark filings and trademark enforcement throughout the world. Kelly's experience includes conducting preliminary knockout searches, reviewing and analyzing comprehensive third party search reports, and preparing trademark clearance opinions. She is extremely adept at preparing and filing trademark prosecution and maintenance documents with the USPTO and is known as the “go-to” for trademark enforcement investigations, especially within the digital space such as Twitter and other media sites. Kelly began her work as a paralegal in 2005 and has since mastered the U.S. Trademark prosecution process.

Background and Credentials

Kelly earned an associate of applied science in paralegal studies from Elgin Community College. The program is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA). She is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and is on the organization's Trademark Administrators (TMA) Committee.
