Biography

Casey is a Technical Specialist within Marshall Gerstein's Electrical & Computer Technologies Group assisting in drafting and prosecuting patent applications. His background in physics, experience in an optics laboratory, and his technical computing skills in Python, R, Tensor Flow, and Keras, allow him to support complex technologies and innovations. 

Outside of the office, Casey enjoys cooking, golfing, and fishing.

Background and Credentials

Prior to joining Marshall Gerstein, Casey obtained his B.S. in physics with a minor in mathematics from the University of Oregon. As an undergraduate, Casey performed experiments with an optical tweezer in addition to conducting standard analog electronic experiments and optical experiments with the University of Oregon Optics Laboratory. Casey also served as a marketing and research intern at a semiconductor company that focused on precision timing solutions.
