Biography
Elliot Jackson is a Patent Agent supporting patent prosecution matters in biotechnology and the life sciences.
Dr. Jackson earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Microbiology from Cornell University and conducted his postdoctoral research at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego. During his postdoctoral research, he developed genetic tools for marine animal models for high-content screening to study early embryonic development. He has authored more than 15 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to successful NIH grant applications, and delivered presentations at Cornell University, UC San Diego, and Tohoku University.
Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Jackson was an Associate Scientist in the Protein Biologics group at the Gates Biomanufacturing Facility at the University of Colorado Anschutz. In this role, he supported GMP manufacturing of recombinant protein therapeutics for stage-one clinical trials.
