“How I Made Partner: ‘Be Resilient and Consistent,’ Says Michelle Bolos of Marshall Gerstein & Borun”
June 10, 2024Marshall Gerstein Partner Michelle Bolos reflects on her career trajectory and leadership advice for younger attorneys in this week’s Law.com How I Made It profile. Appointed to partnership earlier this year, Michelle gives an overview of her career path and work mindset and details her leadership in our firm’s DEI initiatives.
“Last year, I was proud to be selected to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellowship Program, which provides professional development opportunities, leadership training, relationship-building opportunities, and networking access to mid-career attorneys, including some of our clients,” Michelle explained. “The program helped me fine-tune my leadership skills and allowed me to act on my commitment to helping achieve diversity in the legal profession. This organization is an excellent resource for Marshall Gerstein, and our commitment to it demonstrates the firm’s focus on DEI, as LCLD is one of the leaders in creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession.”
When asked about her biggest influence, she credits her father, a Greek immigrant who came to the United States without knowing English: “He instilled his strong work ethic in me and taught me that putting in the time, effort, and hard work is the key to success.”
