Special Counsel Julie M. Watson will chair the commercialization session of Wake Forest School of Medicine’s 5th Annual Regenerative Medicine Essentials Course.

Ms. Watson will lead the commercialization session with co-instructors Gail Naughton, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer & Founder, Histogen, Inc., and Bernard Siegel, Executive Director, Regenerative Medicine Foundation. The commercialization session focuses on moving from research results to therapies in the clinic. Ms. Watson will provide an overview of intellectual property essentials for scientists and highlight special considerations for intellectual property in regenerative medicine.
