Julie Watson to Co-Instruct “Functional Framework of a License” during AUTM’s 2019 Essential Course

Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP’s Special Counsel Julie Watson will serve as a faculty member for the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM)’s 2019 Essentials Course. Julie will co-instruct the course “Functional Framework of a License” on Tuesday, September 9, 2019.

Julie and co-instructor Ellen Purpus, Assistant Vice President, Enterprise & Innovation, University of Nevada Reno will discuss the underlying functional framework of a licensing agreement and how to craft a clear and enforceable license provision.

Julie Watson concentrates on counseling related to intellectual property transactions with a particular emphasis on technology startups and university technology transfers. As a licensing professional with more than 25 years of experience structuring complex intellectual property transactions in-house, she has a deep appreciation of clients' needs and knows how to deliver strategic solutions.
