Biography

Kevin Lach is Chief Information Officer at Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP. Kevin joined the firm in 2005 and has more than 19 years of dedicated service and expertise, with a strong foundation in technology and a commitment to innovation.

At Marshall Gerstein, Kevin oversees technology development and management, as well as security. During his tenure at the firm, Kevin has helped streamline many of the firm’s systems to allow Marshall Gerstein to serve its clients quicker and more effectively.

In his spare time, Kevin enjoys playing golf and he is an avid walker.

Representative Experience

Kevin has key responsibilities across several areas of Marshall Gerstein’s network. Kevin ensures that our network remains robust and protected against security threats and he has implemented solutions that have enhanced the firm’s efficiency and flexibility within our IT ecosystem. Kevin’s knowledge of VPNs and other remote access technology greatly facilitated Marshall Gerstein’s transition to a hybrid work environment during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Kevin has an extensive understanding of security and artificial intelligence, and he is very involved with the firm’s AI initiatives.

Background and Credentials

Kevin has more than 30 years of IT experience. Prior to joining Marshall Gerstein, he worked as an IT consultant and as an IT presales engineer for several years. Kevin leads Marshall Gerstein’s Technology Committee, and he has been instrumental in shaping and optimizing the firm’s infrastructure over the course of the last two decades.
