Ben Horton Named as Chair of IP Litigation Practice
Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP is pleased to announce that Benjamin T. Horton has accepted a new role as Chair of the Firm’s IP Litigation practice.

Mr. Horton is a member of the Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois and litigates intellectual property actions in federal courts across the country. He has a degree in electrical engineering and before law school he worked for technology companies in the automotive and semiconductor industries. Mr. Horton writes and speaks regularly on patent litigation and strategy. He has been recognized by intellectual property publications such as Thomson Reuters, Intellectual Property Magazine, InsideCounsel, Law360, Chicago Magazine, and IPPro. SuperLawyers selected Mr. Horton for the 2012-2015 Illinois Rising Stars® lists, which feature outstanding lawyers recognized among the top up-and-coming attorneys in intellectual property law. He was also selected as an "Emerging Lawyer" in the inaugural edition of Emerging Lawyers Magazine as a top Illinois attorney under 40.
