Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP is pleased to co-sponsor the Global Healthcare Innovation Alliances (GHIA)’s Symposium “Alliances and Incentives in the Era of Outbreaks,” to be held on Friday, April 1, 2016, at Duke University in Durham, NC. Marshall Gerstein special counsel Julie M. Watson will be a speaker at the event.

This symposium will gather thought leaders in the development, funding, policy, manufacturing and distribution of vaccines and drugs to prevent and treat infectious disease outbreaks. Presenters will speak about socially responsible licensing, the proposition that nonprofit IP owners should use licensing practices that encourage global access to essential medicines and innovations.
