Cox Appointed to Board of Directors of Global Healthcare Innovation Alliance Accelerator (GHIAA)
Pamela L. Cox, chair of Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP’s IP Transactions practice group, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Global Healthcare Innovation Alliance Accelerator (GHIAA). GHIAA is a not-for-profit organization that serves as an independent resource, curator, interdisciplinary think tank and consultant for tools, practices and agreement provisions for global health alliance formation. Formed in March of this year, GHIAA is developing an international center for research, training, education and support, dedicated to improving the health of the world's communities through development alliance formation. Ms. Cox is recognized as one of the country’s leading licensing authorities, particularly in the life sciences. In 2016, she received the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) President’s Award for Individual Service, recognizing her outstanding years of leadership and service as Chair of the LESI Life Sciences Committee. Among other accolades, she is “highly recommended” for licensing and one of “The World’s Leading IP Patent and Technology Licensing Lawyers” by Intellectual Asset Management, named a “Life Sciences Star” by LMG Life Sciences, and included in Managing IP’s list of the Top 250 Women in IP. Ms. Cox is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP), serving on its Board of Governors and is Chairman-elect.
