Cox Appointed to CLP Board of Governors

Pamela L. Cox, chair of Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP’s IP Transactions practice, has been appointed to the Certified Licensing Professionals (CLP), Inc. Board of Governors. The CLP administers the Certified Licensing Professional exam and program, which recognizes licensing professionals who are committed to professional development and the attainment of the skills and knowledge necessary to perform at the highest level of quality.

Ms. Cox, a Certified Licensing Professional* since 2011, concentrates on counseling related to intellectual property transactions, protection and transfer for clients ranging from multinational corporations to non-profit institutions. According to the IAM Patent 1000, “Ms. Cox is one of the foremost licensing experts both in the Midwest and nationally. She is a pre-eminent authority on university technology transfer and licensing acting for commercial and non-profit clients.”

*The Supreme Court of Illinois does not recognize certifications of specialties in the practice of law and the CLP™ certification is not a requirement to practice law in Illinois.
