Biography

Richard L. von Holst has been overseeing the Docketing Department at Marshall Gerstein since 1990. He has extensive experience in all aspects of prosecution docketing and years of experience as the firm's records manager. Instrumental in designing the firm's proprietary prosecution docketing and records management systems, Richard regularly consults with vendors regarding docketing rules and related processes. He continues to develop systems and programs for the firm that lead to better efficiency, speed, and accuracy for its attorneys, staff, and ultimately, its clients. Most recently, he performed in a principal role in a multi-year project changing the firm’s records environment from being completely paper-based to completely electronic, essentially removing paper from all firm processes.
