Biography

Sue assists in prosecuting patents within Marshall Gerstein's Electrical & Computer Technologies Group by performing legal research and drafting responses to Office Actions. Sue is fluent in Mandarin (Chinese) and frequently translates patent applications and office actions involving Chinese practice. She also has experience in patent prosecution practice involving complex technologies. In graduate school, she did numerous technical projects such as Analog Integrated Circuit design, VLSI design, and solving problems with Machine Learning techniques. She is proficient in the programming languages of C/C++, Python, MatLab, R, and Verilog/SystemVerilog.

Eng. in macromolecular materials and engineering from Zhejiang University. She previously served as a Patent Engineer and Patent Intern for intellectual property law firms.
