Marshall Gerstein partners Greg Chinlund and Tiffany Gehrke, and associate Michelle Bolos, will attend the 2023 International Trademark Association (INTA) Leadership Meeting. This exclusive event is scheduled to take place from November 14 to November 17, in Houston, Texas. The INTA Leadership Meeting is an invitation-only gathering designed for members of INTA Committees and volunteers who actively contribute to committees and project teams. It offers an array of sessions, workshops, and discussions, all designed to foster collaboration and innovation in the field of intellectual property. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with some of the most influential figures in the industry, engage in thought-provoking dialogues, and share their insights.

Greg serves as Chair of Marshall Gerstein's Trademark and Copyright practice group. For start-up to multi-national companies with trademarks to develop and protect in the U.S. and internationally, Greg adeptly protects their brands—the ultimate value of a company. Similarly, for clients that gain a competitive advantage from novel product design, he counsels clients to capture maximum protection from design patents in order to enhance the value derived from industrial design. He also proactively counsels clients on copyrights, helping negotiate effective agreements and enforcing rights when necessary. Greg's balance, diverse experience, and pragmatic approach, together with an education and background in marketing and business, uniquely position him to serve as a critical legal resource for clients. Greg also currently serves on INTA's Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee.

Tiffany secures and protects intellectual property rights for a broad range of clients worldwide. In this role, her prior experience as a software engineer gives her valuable insider perspectives into clients’ technologies. She regularly counsels clients regarding trademark prosecution and enforcement matters. She also enforces clients’ intellectual property rights through litigation in state and federal courts, through proceedings before the USPTO, and through other dispute resolution forums. Tiffany has extensive experience representing retailers, manufacturers, publishers, consulting companies, and organizations across a wide variety of industries. She also currently serves on INTA’s Internet Committee.

Michelle has extensive experience formulating and executing global brand enforcement strategies to facilitate brand protection and expansion for a broad range of clients. She has represented clients before the USPTO, Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, U.S. Customs, and federal courts.   Michelle helps her clients with all of the most critical aspects of protecting and maximizing the value of their trademarks and copyrights. Her experience includes trademark clearance, trademark and copyright prosecution, negotiating coexistence agreements and assignment/license agreements, domain name disputes, global customs protection and enforcement, Lanham Act and copyright litigation, and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings. Michelle also currently serves on INTA’s Anticounterfeiting Committee.
