IP Litigation partner Thomas L. Duston will present “NPEs – The Special Issues Arising from Disputes with NPEs,” at Practising Law Institute (PLI)’s 2015 Patent Litigation Program, held October 8–9, 2015 at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center. Mr. Duston will speak on Friday, October 9 at 11:15 a.m.

The majority of IP infringement and litigation suits are brought by non-practicing entities (NPEs). Unfortunately, there is no “one size fits all” strategy for dealing with them, so IP leaders must develop a coherent understanding of when to fight and when to settle. In his presentation, Mr. Duston will examine strategies to confront the unique challenges presented by these formidable entities.
